Pair of eighth-place finishes with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Thunderhill Raceway Park
Back with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the weekend, Shane Clanton made it to Thunderhill Raceway Park (Summertown, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Mark Fields Memorial.
Qualifying third-fastest in his group and locking himself into the $5,000-to-win opener, Clanton charged forward in the 30-lap feature and challenged for the lead early before slipping back outside of the Top-5 to finish eighth.
With $15,000 on the line in Saturday's finale, Clanton started sixth in the 50-lap feature and once again finished eighth.
