Shane Clanton 10th in World 100 at Eldora Speedway
With the World 100 bringing him to the great state of Ohio, Shane Clanton checked into Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) alongside 106 other competitors on Thursday afternoon for the 54th-annual World 100.
Finishing 15th in his preliminary feature on Thursday, Clanton picked up the pace on Friday as he started 10th in his $12,000-to-win prelim and brought back a Top-5 finish in fifth. He trailed Hudson O'Neal, Cory Hedgecock, Josh Rice, and Jimmy Owens.
For Saturday's $57,000-to-win finale, Clanton transferred to the feature by finishing runner-up in his heat race and scored a Top-10 finish in the 100 lapper.
