Clanton races into 53rd-running of World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Making the trek to Ohio on Thursday afternoon, Shane Clanton and the Skyline Motorsports team invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 53rd-running of the World 100.
With the whopping 102 Late Models split into two groups, Clanton was victorious in his heat race and wound up with a Top-10 finish in his preliminary feature in ninth.
For another round of preliminaries on Friday, Shane once again picked up a heat race win and wound land another Top-10 in seventh in the second $12,000-to-win feature of the night.
Transferring to the $56,000 World 100 through a Last Chance Showdown, Clanton was an early retiree and was scored 20th in the 100-lap main event.
