Clanton joins World of Outlaws at Smoky Mountain

Drawing 32 World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series entries, Clanton’s fourth-to-second showing in his heat race sent him into the redraw. Pulling the third-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Shane was an early retiree on lap 14 with mechanical issues.

Saturday's Charlie Mize Memorial at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
