Fourth-place finish in LOLMDS opener at All-Tech Raceway

After a scheduled off night on Wednesday, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) picked back up on Thursday at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) with a $10,000-to-win A-Main. With a heat race victory placing him third on the starting grid for the A-Main, Clanton dropped one spot in the 40-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He followed Brandon Sheppard, Devin Moran, and Jonathan Davenport across the line with Ricky Thornton Jr. coming in fifth.

For the finale on Saturday after Mother Nature axed Friday’s program, Shane was forced to a take a provisional into the feature after missing a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main. With $15,000 on the line, Clanton improved 13 positions in the 50-lap affair to finish 10th.
