14th-place finish in LOLMDS opener at All-Tech

Shane Clanton kicked off his 2021 season on Saturday afternoon at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season opener after a Covid-19 diagnosis led to a hospital stay in early January. Drawing 57 cars for the General Tire Winter Nationals, Shane secured his spot into the $15,000-to-win A-Main with the third and final transfer spot in his heat race.
