Clanton kicks off Lucas Oil Speedweeks at Golden Isles

With Mother Nature wiping out Friday night’s opener, Shane Clanton kicked off his 2020 season on Saturday afternoon at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) for the RhinoAg Super Bowl of Racing. In a field of 45 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Shane laid down the sixth fastest lap in his time trial group before placing 3rd in his heat race. Starting the $12,000-to-win A-Main in 11th, Clanton improved one spot in the 50-lap affair to register a 10th place outing. (Zach Yost Racing Photography)
