1November 21, 2020 - Shane Clanton was one of 33 Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals entries on hand at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Saturday night for the Billy Clanton Classic; the event honoring his late father. After topping the speed charts in time trials, Clanton cruised to a heat race victory, which positioned him on the pole for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Blasting ahead of Chris Madden on the opening lap to assume command of the lead, Shane led the next 12 circuits until Madden snuck past. He remained in a podium spot for the next 20 circuits when a multiple car tangle sent him pitside with substantial damage to his No. 25 Late Model.

November 14, 2020 - Friday night found Shane Clanton in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the Cotton Pickin’ 100 weekend. Drawing 34 Late Models for the two-day event, Shane came in fifth fastest in his time trial group before placing third in his heat. 1On Saturday afternoon, Clanton followed up the second fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Morgan Bagley. Starting the $12,000-to-win A-Main in seventh, Shane was the first retiree from the 70-lapper on the sixth lap.

1November 4, 2020 - With Covid-19 restrictions postponing the Can-Am World Finals to 2021, Shane Clanton was one of 55 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand at the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Wednesday afternoon for the Last Call. Recording a fifth place finish in his heat race, Clanton transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking in the Top 2, Shane fell short with an eighth place outing.

He was one of five cars that packed up on Wednesday and headed home.
