1July 25, 2020 - Shane Clanton made the trek to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Thursday afternoon to take part in the Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals weekend. Drawing 46 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries for the Dirt Track Bank Go 50, Shane ran into trouble early in his heat race, forcing him to pull out his secondary car for his B-Main. Charging from the tail of the field to place sixth, Clanton was granted a provisional into the opening night feature. Rolling off 24th, Shane Clanton advanced through the field seven spots to register a 17th place outing.

1On Friday night competing in a pair of heat races, Clanton followed up an eighth place finish in his first heat with a second place finish behind Ricky Weiss in round two. Transferring the Top 4 into the finale, Shane posted a third place finish, which positioned him 24th on the starting grid for the main event. Passing nine cars in the 101-lap affair, Clanton logged a 15th place finish.

1July 19, 2020 - Monday evening saw 27 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) enter the Truck Country 50 at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa). Jumping up one spot in his heat to place second behind Billy Moyer Jr., Shane Clanton locked into the sixth-starting position for the A-Main. 1On Friday afternoon at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) for the NAPA Know How 50, Clanton recorded the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group before scoring a runner-up finish in his heat behind Kyle Strickler. Improving one spot in the 50-lap feature, Shane notched a fourth place finish behind Tyler Erb, Billy Moyer Jr., and Jonathan Davenport with Tyler Bruening coming in fifth.

The following night at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the 28th annual Show-Me 100 presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com, Shane secured his spot into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a third place finish in his heat race. Losing three spots in the 100-lap affair, Clanton logged a 13th place outing.

1For the CMH Diamond Nationals on Sunday afternoon, Clanton followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with a second place finish in his heat behind Billy Moyer. With Mother Nature delaying the 50-lap feature until late in the evening, Shane advanced forward four spots to score a third place finish behind Chris Ferguson and Jonathan Davenport with Rick Eckert and Shanon Buckingham completing the Top-5 finishers.

1July 10, 2020 - On Friday night Shane Clanton was one of 33 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the two-day General Tire Summer Sizzler Nationals. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, Clanton locked his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a 12-lap consolation victory. Improving two positions in the 50-lap affair, Shane recorded a 16th place finish.

Saturday night’s program fell victim to Mother Nature.

1July 4, 2020 - Shane Clanton invaded Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio) on Friday night to kick off the Fourth of July weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Passing three cars in his heat, Clanton posted a third place finish, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Falling short of a Top-10 finish in the 50-lap affair, Shane slipped back to a 17th place outing.

On Saturday evening at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the Independence 50, Shane secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a second place finish in his heat behind Billy Moyer Jr. After wheeling his way into the Top-5 and challenging for the lead, Clanton suffered a flat right-rear tire on the eighth lap that dropped him back to a 15th place outing.
