November 9, 2019 - Bringing an end to the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series season, Shane Clanton traveled to the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, North Carolina) on Thursday evening for the Can-Am World Finals. Starting second in his heat on Friday afternoon, Shane posted a runner-up finish behind Scott Bloomquist which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $12,000 on the line, Clanton passed four cars in the 50-lap affair to reel in a 7th place finish.
Rolling off on the pole of his heat on Saturday night, Clanton cruised to an 8-lap heat race victory which locked him on the pole for the $12,000-to-win finale. Falling short of a Top-10 finish, Shane slipped back to a 12th place outing in the 50-lapper.
With his 12th-place finish on Saturday, Shane Clanton secured 2nd in the final World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series point standings.
