1March 31, 2018 - Shane Clanton returned to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Friday evening for the two-day Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned weekend. In a field of 28 cars, Clanton followed up the second fastest time overall with a heat race victory. Earning the 7th-starting position for the opening night feature, Shane gained four spots in the 40-lapper to place 3rd behind Scott Bloomquist and Clint Smith with Michael Page and Zach Leonhardi completing the Top-5 finishers. 1On Saturday night in a field of 33 cars, Clanton logged a 7th place finish in his heat after retiring early on lap 7. Failing to lock his spot into the show via his B-Main, Shane was granted a provisional into the $10,000-to-win finale. Rolling off 21st, Shane Clanton advanced through the field 11 positions reeling in a 10th place finish.

1March 17, 2018 - Friday night saw Shane Clanton travel to Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) for the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series sanctioned program. After laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying, Clanton topped the 21-car field in the feature to capture his second win of the season and a $3,000 payday. 1The following night Clanton stopped at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the regular night of racing. In a field of 15 Super Late Models, Shane locked his spot into the feature with the fastest time overall in qualifying. Battling with Michael Page for the top spot, Clanton landed a runner-up finish in the 30-lap A-Main behind Page with TJ Reaid, Austin Horton, and Zach Leonhardi rounding the Top-5.

1March 3, 2018 - On Saturday evening Shane Clanton made the short trip to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the track’s season opener. In a field of 14 Super Late Models, Clanton registered the fastest time overall in qualifying locking him into the 2nd-starting position for the main event. Overtaking the top spot on lap 4, Shane Clanton cruised to his first win of the season in the feature topping Austin Horton, Bubba Pollard, Dale Thurman, and Rob Mayea at the line.
