Starting the night by setting fast time in qualifications, Clanton backed up his strong start by winning his heat race. He would race in the Top 5 throughout the finale before streaking under the checkered flag in the 4th position behind Brandon Sheppard, Tyler Erb, and Eric Wells.

Despite not getting the win, Clanton was all smiles after the feature was completed as he thought about his late father.

“It’s hard to be up here and him not being with me and he has been gone for a couple of years now,” said Clanton. “As long as we can live his life like we’re doing and just honor him as much as we can. He’s done a lot for the racing in the south east. It’s an honor to be here tonight.”
