1June 28th, 2014 - Shane Clanton entered the 8th Annual Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) over the weekend.

The opening round of the three-day mega event was contested on Thursday evening, as a stout field of fifty-five entries registered for the $6,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) program. A third place finish in the sixth heat would earn Shane the eighteenth starting spot for the 30 lap feature. In the main event he battled around mid-pack for the duration of the event before crossing the finish line in nineteenth.

Friday night's $6,000-to-win preliminary saw Shane finishing second in his heat race to lock into the eighth starting spot on the feature grid. During the course of the 30 lap finale Clanton settled to a thirteenth place finish in the final rundown.

On Saturday night the $30,000-to-win finale was contested for the 8th Annual Firecracker 100. Shane's efforts during the preliminary night's earning him the fourth starting spot for his heat race. Unfortunately, a melee in heat race action brought his night to an early end.

1June 24th, 2014 - It was back to business with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series on Tuesday night. Thirty-one Super Late Models entered the $8,000-to-win program at Big Diamond Speedway (Pottsville, Pennsylvania). Shane posted the sixth fastest lap overall during qualifications, and went to win his heat race earning him a spot in the evening's redraw. Clanton was the recipient of the fourth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. During the course of the feature he battled around the top five for much of the event before recording a sixth place finish at the checkered flag.

1June 21st, 2014 - The team stayed close to home over the weekend, competing in a Weekly Racing Series program on Saturday night at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia).

Eighteen Super Late Models were on hand for the program, and Clanton starting his outing by setting fast time in qualifications. Shane grabbed the race lead on lap 25 of the feature and never looked back to score his first victory of the 2014 season. Shawn Chastain finished second followed by Dale Thurman, Austin Smith, and Johnny Chastain.

1June 14th, 2014 - Shane Clanton made the trek to the state-of-the-art, Magnolia Motor Speedway over the weekend as he participated in the $20,000-to-win, Clash at the Mag, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

Forty-four Super Late Models registered for battle at the 3/8 mile oval, and a fifth place finish in heat race action left Shane just one spot short of locking into the 100 lap finale. As a result he would have to run a b-main on Saturday.

A second place finish in the b-main earned Clanton the 20th starting spot on the grid for the main event. In the feature he made some progress early on before ultimately retiring to a nineteenth place finish in the final rundown.

1June 7th, 2014 - Shane Clanton entered the opening round of the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream 100 on Thursday night at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio).

Seventy-eight entries registered for the preliminary event, as the field was divided into a pair of $2,500-to-win programs. A sixth to fourth run in heat race action positioned Clanton starting sixteenth on the grid for the 25 lap feature. He battled around mid-pack early in the event before retiring to a 22nd place finish.

Action continued from Eldora Speedway on Friday evening with the winner's purse increasing to $5,000. Shane used a heat race win to lock into the third starting spot in his 25 lap feature event. Clanton battled near the front of the pack early in the race before settling to an eleventh place finish in the final rundown.

The weekend came to an end with the $100,000-to-win finale for the crown jewel event. In heat race action Shane faded from his front row starting spot to sixth place finish, leaving him short of locking into the main event and forcing him to run a b-main. Clanton charged from eighth in his b-main to finish second, earning him a spot in the 100 lap feature. Unfortunately, mechanical issues in the feature brought his night to an early end, and a disappointing 27th place finish.
