1August 31st, 2014 - The World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series returned to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) on Friday night to kick off a busy Labor Day weekend.

Thirty-right Super Late Models entered the $10,000-to-win event, and a second place finish in heat race action sent Clanton to the redraw for the 50 lap feature. Shane battled amongst the top ten throughout the event, and ultimately crossed the finish line in the eighth spot.

An $8,000-to-win race was contested at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night. A talented field of forty-one entries filled the pit area at the 1/2 mile oval, and after qualifying second in his group Clanton went on to win his heat race, sending him to the redraw for the feature. After receiving the pole position for the 40 lapper, Shane assumed the point at the drop of the green flag. He set a comfortable pace for much of the event until sixth starting Tim McCreadie charged to the lead with just five laps remaining. Clanton fought back, but it was McCreadie who took the checkered flag first with Clanton settling in second. Rick Eckert, Darrell Lanigan, and Dylan Yoder rounded out the top five finishers.

The weekend drew to a close on Sunday evening with the annual National Late Model Open at Selinsgrove Speedway. With the winner's check increased to $10,000, forty WoO Super Late Models registered for battle. Shane finished second in his heat race to once again find himself a part of the evening's redraw. He received the fourth starting spot for the 50 lap feature, and raced his way to third place finish behind race winner, Darrell Lanigan, and Rick Eckert. Austin Hubbard and Chub Frank completed the top five.

1August 24th, 2014 - It was a doubleheader for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series in the state of Michigan over the weekend.

Action opened on Friday night at I-96 Speedway (Lake Odessa, Michigan), as thirty-four entries registered for the $10,000-to-win program. Shane started his night strong by setting fast time honors not only in his group but also overall. A dominating heat race win earned him a spot in the redraw, where he received the second starting spot on the feature grid. When the race went green, Clanton assumed the point over polesitter, Curtis Roberts. Clanton set the pace out, and looked to be well on his way to his first WoO victory of the season. Unfortunately, disaster struck for Shane on lap 42 when he blew a right rear tire. With just eight laps remaining his night came to an early end as he retired to a fifteenth place finish in the final rundown.

Action shifted to Merritt Speedway (Merritt, Michigan) on Saturday night for another $10,000-to-win race. Thirty-four competitors filled the pit are at the oval, and Clanton used a third place finish in the third heat race to lock into the eleventh starting spot for the finale. In the 50 lap main event, Shane advanced to a seventh place finish.

The team entered an unsanctioned $3,000-to-win program at Little Valley Speedway (Little Valley, New York) on Sunday evening. With seventeen entries in the pits, Shane raced to the third starting spot in the feature via his preliminary efforts. The Zebulon, Georgia ace took over the top spot on a lap two restart, and dominated the remainder of the 30 lap feature to score the win over Dick Barton, Mike Knight, Bump Hedman, and Greg Oaks. 1August 16th, 2014 - Shane Clanton entered a busy weekend with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series, which began on Thursday with a trip to Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware).

Thirty-four entries were registered for battle, as Clanton finished third in his heat race to lock into the ninth starting spot for the $10,050-to-win feature. In the main event Shane raced around the top ten throughout the event before crossing the finish line in tenth.

On Saturday night Shane traveled to Potomac Speedway (Budds Creek, Maryland) for a $10,000-to-win program. After qualifying fifth in his group he went on to finish second in the heat race, earning him a spot in the redraw. Clanton received the fourth starting spot for the 50 lap main event, ultimately settling to a sixth place finish in the final rundown.

Sunday evening took the team to Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia) for a $10,000-to-win event that drew a field of thirty-four Super Late Models to the oval. Shane battled the handle on his #25 Weldbank Energy/Capital Race Car/Clements Race Engine Super Late Model in preliminary action, and was forced to utilize a series' provisional to lock into the finale. He went on to finish nineteenth in the 50 lapper.

1August 2nd, 2014 - Shane entered the opening round of the 27th Annual USA Nationals on Thursday night at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin).

A stout field of fifty-three Super Late Models entered the $6,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series program. A fifth place finish in his heat race left Shane just short of locking into the feature, sending him to a b-main. In the b-main he failed to reach a transfer spot, forcing him to utilize a Series Provisional to lock into the 40 lap finale. Clanton started 27th in the main event and went on to cross the finish line in 26th.

On Friday night, preliminary action was contested for the $50,000-to-win finale. Shane struggled in time trials, and finished sixth in his heat race, leaving him short of the transfer and sending him to a b-main on Saturday. Unfortunately Clanton failed to reach a transfer position in the b-main or the Last Chance Qualifier, bringing his night to an early end.
